Here you will find up to date information on the Gaming Activities held at the 64th Annual World Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention.

Worldcon 64 has decided to host gaming activities at thier convention. In that spirit they have provided us (the gamers) with 25,000 square feet of gaming spare in the Anaheim Hilton.

This massive convention (about 8,000+ attendess), will support a broad array of sci-fi and fantasy with attendees from all over the world. Within this convention will be a gaming department which welcomes both full convention attendees, and the casual gamer just dropping in to play. The gaming department will also have an ecclectic list of games and events from groups such as Upper Deck, Steve Jackson Games, and the RPGA as well as many Live Action Roleplaying Organizations.

In a nutshell expect to see Board Games, RPG’s, LARPs, Card Games, Miniatures, and more at this years Worldcon.

If you are interested in attending simply show up on site and buy a badge. The primary gaming activities will take place Thursday - Sunday, with event Registration opening on Wednesday.

What is a Worldcon?

The World Science Fiction Convention (or Worldcon) is a lot more than just what the name suggests. The Worldcon is the gathering of thousands of people with a shared interest in things fantastic. Movies. Books. Science. Space. Television. Games. Costumes. Art. Anime. More… Much More!

Over the five jam-packed days and nights of the Worldcon, there will be over 600 program items, filled with information, fun, behind-the-scenes stories, and free-wheeling exchanges between the speakers and the audience.

Past Worldcons have included some of the top selling authors of science fiction, fantasy, and horror fiction including Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Marion Zimmer Bradley and Poul Anderson.

This year will be no different. Already confirmed guests include authors Connie Willis, Anne McCaffrey, Harlan Ellison, Larry Niven, Robert Silverberg, James Gurney, Harry Turtledove, George RR Martin and Greg Benford; comic book greats Marv Wolfman, Len Wein, and Bernie Wrightson; and filmmakers such as Battlestar Galactica’s executive producer Ron Moore, The Shining director Mick Garris, Galaxy Quest writer Robert Gordon, actor Walter Koenig; and lots more.
